Tel Aviv hosts an annual opera in the park performance every year in the beautiful HaYarkon Park in the north of the city. Last year, “Kazablan,” a classic Israeli musical, took the stage, captivating visitors with a complicated, emotional love story between Kazablan, an Israeli from Morocco, and Rachel, an Ashkenazi Jew from Europe.
The entrance to the opera is, of course, free, and seating is on the grass. Therefore, plan in advance to arrive early, bring a blanket, and you’ll be sure to have a memorable evening.
